In certain cases, telecentric illuminators projecting a quasi-monochromatic light source (such as an LED) can give rise to diffraction effects.
The CPDPH series features optional diffuser caps designed to be positioned in front of LTSCHP1W modules and into any LTCLHP, LTCLHP CORE or LTCL4K telecentric illuminator to effectively minimize such diffraction effects.
Diffuser caps may affect the level of illumination homogeneity.
